Nanushka Eyewear establishes a sense of playfulness within a formal order. The Shae sunglasses have an distinctive oversized D-frame silhouette and a timeless tortoiseshell finish that’s complemented by gold-tone hardware at each temple. Made from bio-based materials, they continue our commitment to responsible design.

Frames are cast from 68% bio-based plastic, which is made from natural and renewable materials that biodegrade in a composting environment.
Lenses are also bio-based, comprising 39% natural and renewable resources such as castor oil. 
Accompanying pouch is made from deadstock supplies of our signature cruelty-free vegan leather. 
Cleaning cloth is made from 100% GRS-certified recycled polyester.

Bio-based

This items is made using bio-based materials, lessening the impacts related to fossil fuel extraction and production, reducing CO2 emissions.

Compostable

This item is made using compostable materials. Just like food waste, these break down and decompose in a compost environment to natural materials - and in a much shorter time than plastic.
